Video Guide to Pizza Slice Exeter

Image
This is an extended text based on the YouTube playlist . It is a guide to the full space and the central Albert Memorial Museum. First a walk around the edges Then the museum. Albertopolis West turned out to be too much of a mouthful. So Albert West is enough, the idea is for a West version of Albertopolis Central, the original space following the Great Exhibition. The Exeter space now includes an arts centre, library and gardens. Also included here is a voice clip from Phonic FM with some photos from Albertopolis Central. This explains more about the original space.

The adventure has started

Our adventure in the discovery on what we call the centre of the great city of EXETER has started and will take us on a journey back in time. It probably will take us a fair bit of time to come to a conclusion , but this is the adventure.....

Introducing the Pizza Slice Exeter

This started from the basement of the Phoenix Arts Centre. The studio for Phonic FM has no windows so we decided to explore the world beyond. First we looked for Albertopolis West, then Albert Space West. We realised that the boundary was a bit wider and mixed up with edtech in various spaces. The Art School aspect of the Albert Space now part of the College and some distance away. So the straight edges are the High Street and extended North Street. the curve is around New North Road by car or sometimes through Northernhay Gardens when walking. Future posts will link to video and photos already loaded somewhere.
